Information

  • Insulation piercing connectors are mainly used for connecting low-voltage overhead cables insulated with aluminum or copper. They consist of an internal part made of conductive material and an external insulating part with high mechanical characteristics, resistant to climatic variations and aging.
  • They do not require removal of the insulation as the electrical connection is obtained, both on the main conductor and on the branch, using special piercing elements.
  • They feature double insulation and can be installed even with live lines. Furthermore, the branch can be made on either the right or left side of the terminal.
  • They are normally equipped with tightening screws with a pre-set break-off head for perfect control of the tightening torque.
